Saint Anthony’s is a Catholic chapel in the Charlotte, NC area served by priests of the Society of Saint Pius X.

Our community was founded in 1981 when a group of Catholic faithful, disturbed by the turmoil following the Second Vatican Council, petitioned Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre to send priests to Charlotte to offer the traditional Mass.
For two decades, the faithful of Saint Anthony’s met in various homes and meeting spaces until our current property in Mount Holly was acquired in August of 2000.
By God’s grace, Saint Anthony’s continues to offer a refuge of the traditional Sacraments to all who seek them in the Carolinas and beyond.
