Saint Anthony’s has been the heart of Catholic tradition in the Carolinas since 1981.
For two decades, our faithful huddled together in homes and humble meeting spaces for the traditional Mass before Providence provided us with our current church—a location that countless spiritual orphans have called home for nearly twenty-five years.
By God’s grace, our community has grown steadily since then. And as Charlotte has overflowed with faith, families, and vocations, so too has our small chapel. The time has come to build a new home for Tradition: a church worthy to sustain the next generation with the fullness of Catholic life in the Carolinas.
The New Saint Anthony’s
In November 2025, the SSPX General Council approved our plan to identify and purchase a property on which to build The New Saint Anthony’s.
This is only the beginning. Pray with us as we search for the right land, and join us as we build a home worthy of the Faith, our families, and future generations of Catholics in Charlotte.
